What People Are Saying about
The Red Bag
The Red Bag is a great book for EVERYONE to read. It gives hope to those going through something difficult in their life and potentially provides answers for those who question “what else is out there?” or “what happens after we die?” With life and human beings being so intricate, perfect, and fragile there has to be more than just what we see on a day to day basis. Paige is so fortunate to have special gifts and talents that enable her to help others in their time of need and delve deeper into what others can’t see or understand. Her book sheds light and insight on how she is able to do what she does and how she got to where she is today. Personally, I think that The Red Bag helped provide me with some insights into life and be able to further open my mind to what I can’t necessarily see. Books like Paige’s provide me with hope that there is more to the realm we exist in. Thank you for all you do.
The first thought when writing this review was “I should have done it sooner!” I made a promise a few weeks ago after reading “The Red Bag” the night after I met Paige at a Gala in Washington, DC remembering a friend of mine Allison who lost her life at 28 to Cancer. Then I reminded myself the 2nd biggest thing I got out of the book besides figuring out what to put in my bag was that “Should is Shit!” I met Paige when I was ready. I read the book in one night when I was ready. I wrote this review when I was ready. And that’s the whole point for me. I’ve encountered everything in my life when I was ready. Not when I “should have.” As someone with a fairly charmed life but who has also dealt with quite a bit of trauma in my life it’s nice to know what’s in my “Red Bag!”
Paige has certainly lived through her fair share of trials and tribulations, and she has managed to turn those experiences into an opportunity to help those of us struggling to cope with our own trauma. In my case, I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm that required emergency surgery. It had come with no warning. The months following this incident left me feeling very insecure, and I found myself questioning my life's purpose. A friend of mine had posted a link on Facebook which featured Paige and her thoughts on dealing with personal trauma. I ordered her book, "The Red Bag" and recently completed it. It has definitely made me realize that I am not alone, and that my feelings of insecurity and anxiety are quite normal. It has provided a good coping mechanism for me. Paige uses her special gifts of tapping into life beyond this earthly realm to assure us of the continuation of our journey beyond this life and to provide solid perspective for those of us with our own individual hurts. I highly recommend this book for anyone seeking comfort following a personal trauma.
A powerful, thought provoking book. The messages received from this book certainly give you a different, deeper perspective, one that you will be thinking about over and over again!
This was by far one of the most inspirational and transformational books I have ever read. While reading the book it felt just like I was in the same room with Paige having a conversation, not reading. The journey she and her husband were on together is an amazing and inspirational story. Their honesty in describing a deeply personal event is so beautiful. There were several other chapters that really spoke to me, but I have to say my favorite chapter was “Should Is Shit”. So very true! Thank you Paige for sharing all of this information with me!
I couldn't put the book down. Very simply, the hope and focus on connections. The unknown being revealed, the whimsy of daydreaming bout what hidden things might be like. Entirely open to interpretation and how it could apply to practice in our lives. The giving and being of service tugs at me too. I love it.
I felt such peace and hope after reading this book. Your way of writing is just as your therapy is...gentle, easily understood...hopeful...powerful...thought provoking. There are so many ways that a reader can feel what you are writing...the importance of it...the hopefulness of it. How amazing it must feel that you have helped so many in such profound ways. Your husband's journey (and your description of it..) will most likely resonate with many people; It was a powerful example of integrative healing. I am so encouraged and profoundly pleased with the book. Thank you Paige...you are indeed a blessing to me and to so many others. You have created something very special in this book, because it is an extension of your spiritual self and your incredible gifts.
Finished reading Paige's new book "The Red Bag" last night. My advice is not to start reading too late as I was up till midnight because I could not put the book down. An inspiring tale of a life journey through turmoil and the beauty that grew out of it. This book will change how you experience life.
The Red Bag flows like clean water through my mind, heart, and spirit. It is a "forever" companioning book for those of us who feel a bit like we are in exile in this earth world because it is filled with stories, allusions and metaphors, and strong wisdom that we are and always have been supported, nurtured, and guided by the unseen realms of Spirit. Thank you for living your life with such courage, understanding, wisdom, and truthfulness regarding the unseen worlds and dimensions. We are all blessed.
